Message from the Secretary-Generals

Welcome! ErMUN is a small conference based in Maisons-Laffitte, west of Paris. It is organized by a team of dynamic, invested and motivated high school students, with the help of many teachers from different sections of the school. We pride ourselves on being a beginner conference, designed for new or unsure delegates to try their hand at proper conferences, for more advanced delegates to practice procedure and debate for larger conferences (HMUN, THIMUN, etc.) and for experienced delegates to try their hand at chairing for, possibly, the first time. We strongly believe that everyone deserves to begin somewhere and that we should offer that opportunity to those who need or want it, and offer it without judgement or reserve. ErMUN is a learning experience for all, even our Executive Team is learning more and more each day about properly running a conference. We hope everyone enjoys their time debating at ErMUN and takes away something important from their weekend, whatever it may be.
